The backoffice that powers mySecondTeacher. Content management, user admin, and analytics in one dashboard.
The mySecondTeacher ecosystem needed a centralized backoffice for admins and content managers. Managing courses, tracking student activity, handling accounts, and reviewing analytics were all happening through workarounds. The team needed one tool that could do all of it without requiring technical skills.
We prioritized the content management workflow first since that was the most frequent task. Uploading a lesson, attaching a video, and hitting publish needed to feel as easy as writing an email.
The dashboard landing page shows three things: active students, content gaps, and engagement trends. We deliberately left out the 20 other metrics the team thought they wanted. If a number doesn’t change how you act, it doesn’t belong on the first screen.
We also designed role-based access so super admins, content managers, and school coordinators each see only what’s relevant to their job.
The backoffice became the operational core of mySecondTeacher. Content managers could publish lessons on their own without waiting for a developer, which removed the biggest bottleneck in the content pipeline.
